Making Headway With Auralea’s Illustration

Inspiration Put to Good Use

My visits at the National Gallery have really started to pay off. I was a little frustrated with being able to mimic the technique and the colors in the John Singer Sargent piece I have been working on with my Modsterpiece project.

Today I tried to focus on the illustrations that I’ve been working on for my friend Auralea’s website. Working on her illustration today was a blast in ArtRage. All the work that I’ve been doing on my Modsterpiece is translating to my regular work. I’ve notice that my blending techniques are strengthening and my comfort with the software is improving.
